Model #132 chair designed in 1948 by Donald Knorr for Knoll International. Great modernist design. Sheet metal seat shell, bent rod steel legs. Produced from 1950-52. Donald Knorr was co-awarded first prize at the Competition for Low Cost Furniture held at the MOMA New York in 1950. Described as “light, flexible, and elegant,” it features a curved seat cut from sheet metal and designed to conform to the human body.
