Delicate porcelain tea service with translucent, hand-cut rice motif, in the “Kukka” pattern, by Finnish designer Friedl Kjellberg-Holzer (1905-1993), produced at Arabia, circa 1940s. The incisions are translucent when held up to the light. The bowls are signed on the bottom. In excellent original condition.

Provenance: This was a wedding gift to the former Finnish Honorary Consul General in The Netherlands in the 1950s.
