Pair of chairs designed by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1950. Manufactured in France. Seemingly simple but very refined design. The rear legs elegantly bent to form the backrest supports. A recess in the backrest supports enables the rush surface to be in line with the wood of the backrest supports. In good original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. This chair, known as number 19, is documented in the book “Charlotte Perriand Un Art d’Habiter”, pages 334-335. Priced individually.
