Versatile oval all glass table designed circa 1980 by Luigi Massoni for Gallotti & Radice. Useable as a desk or a conference table depending on how the 2 glass bases are placed underneath the top. Placed inside out it is a very impressive large desk, and placed outside in piece transforms to a very elegant transparant conference or dining table. Great all original condition. Luigi Massoni (1930-1991) was an Italian industrial designer who made significant contributions to the automotive and product design industries. He started his career in the early 1950s, working for several Italian car makers, including Lancia and Maserati. Massoni later became the head of design for the furniture manufacturer Poltrona Frau, where he created iconic pieces such as the “Gilda” armchair. He also worked for other well-known brands, such as Oluce and Guzzini. Massoni’s designs were known for their sleek, minimalist style, and his work had a significant impact on the design trends of the 20th century.
