Beautiful coffee table that is smoothly clad on all sides with strokes of veneer. Very strong architectural presence. We have 3 of these tables, they came from a villa in Sicily, Italy that was fully decorated by an architect with important Italian design in the 1960’s. There were pieces by Gio Ponti, Carlo Scarpa, Fontana Arte, Pietro Chiesa and many more. According to the previous owner they are designed by Carlo Scarpa, but we couldn’t find any documentation unfortunately.
