Item Description
1930s modernist sideboard designed according to the “International style” design principles: the expression of volume rather than mass, the emphasis on balance rather than preconceived symmetry, and the expulsion of applied ornament. At the time the Dutch architect Gerrit Rietveld and Le Corbusier where important “International style” representatives. The sideboard is equipped with a drop down desk, a retractable Carrara marble worktop and six concealed drawers.
