Rare large pendant designed at the Bauhaus Dessau ateliers by Marianne Brandt and executed by Kandem, Leipzig, Germany. White cased opal glass with nickel-plated brass hardware. The “Kandem” stamped aluminum inside frame has slits that provide the lamp with a beautiful shadow pattern when lit. Marked.
