A beautiful floor lamp from the 1950s, with a bronze soft gloss enameled aluminum shade. Designed by Lisa-Johansson Pape and manufactured by Orno. The top of the shade is covered with glass, the bottom has louvres similar to the lamps of Alvar Aalto. The lamps spreads a very comfortable soft light. In completely original condition with a beautiful patina. Lisa Johansson-Pape (1907–1989) was a Finnish designer known for her innovative lighting and furniture designs. She gained prominence in the mid-20th century for her minimalist yet functional approach, emphasizing simplicity, high-quality materials, and optimal light distribution. Collaborating with leading Finnish brands like Orno, her lighting designs became iconic in Scandinavian modernism. Beyond lighting, she also worked with glass and textiles, contributing significantly to Finnish design.
