Elegant Italian tripod floor lamp attributed to Stilux. Outside shade in yellow plexiglass, inner diabolo shaped shade in white opaline glass. Brass fitting support and black lacquered metal legs with brass feet. Unmarked.
Alongside companies like Arteluce, Arredoluce and Stilnovo, Stilux was one of the important manufacturers of Mid-Century Modern, Italian lighting design. They worked with designers like Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, Angelo Lelli and Gino Sarfatti.
