Fog & Mørup was a Danish lighting design company founded in 1904. The company became well-known for its innovative lighting fixtures, many of which were designed by some of Denmark’s most prominent designers, including Poul Henningsen and Verner Panton. Fog & Mørup was particularly known for its use of materials such as copper and brass, which gave their designs a warm, natural feel. The company’s designs have been featured in a number of prominent locations, including the United Nations headquarters in New York City. Though the company closed its doors in the 1990s, its legacy lives on in the numerous iconic designs it produced and the impact it had on the world of lighting design.
