Item Description
Kiushu club chair in red Alcantara fabric, made in Italy circa 1960 by Saporiti. This chair, equipped with a chromed steel frame, features a very distinctive sloped back at the bottom. The chromed frame forms a wonderful contrast to the red upholstered seat. The red Alcantara fabric is still fine, but the foam in the seat is deteriorated. This chair surely deserves a professional reupholstery in a great Mid-Century Modern fabric. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure this piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well. Priced individually, two available. Since 1950 Saporiti Italia creates refined and original furniture collections, designed in collaboration with famous architects or with emerging and innovative designers from all over the world, including Pierluigi Cerri, Massimiliano & Doriana Fuksas, Marti Guixé, Toshiyuki Kita, Daniel Libeskind, Mauro Lipparini, Eric Maria, Claudio Nardi, Giovanni Offredi, Park Associati, John Portman, Alberto Rosselli, Storage Milano, Shin Takamatsu, Antonio Ventimiglia, James Wines/SITE, Carlos Zapata and many others.
