The EA 216 is the lounge chair in the Soft Pad Group by Charles and Ray Eames. Their dignified aura makes these chairs especially suited for management areas. The extraordinary comfort of the chairs results from the combined effect of their swivel mechanism and the soft fabric- or leather-covered upholstery. The EA216 is no longer in production. These chairs were custom ordered for the Vitra boardroom, where they served from 2015 until recently. They were used sparingly and very carefully, the chairs still look immaculate. They are executed in a very distinguished combination of polished aluminum and butter soft Premium Sand leather. We have 8 chairs available, priced individually. Marked with Vitra label.
