Beautiful arm chair designed by Charles & Ray Eames in indigo blue fiberglass with a walnut swivel dowel base. The fiberglass chairs came with a range of bases to accommodate different uses and aesthetics. PAW was the designation given to armchairs such as this with a dowel base with swivel mechanism and a seat height perfect for use at a table or desk. The chair is marked with the embedded Herman Miller logo underneath the seat, designating it as a USA production, circa 1980. The base is more recent.
