Very comfortable early 1960s lounge chair with adjustable tilt mechanism. The design of this chair, a Naugahyde upholstery over a steel structure, was very innovative at the time and is adopted from the automobile industry. Attributed to Osvaldo Borsani. The oxblood red Naugahyde is still in wonderful original condition. A very comfortable lounge chair. Osvaldo Borsani (1911-1985) was an influential Italian designer and architect, celebrated for his contributions to mid-century modern furniture design.
