Unique early matching pair of all original grey leather Wassily chairs designed by Marcel Breuer, circa 1925. Manufactured circa 1960 by Gavina in Italy. Made in grey leather with chromed tubular steel frame. The edges of the leather show the brown natural leather color typical for natural tanned leather. Later Wassily chairs have grey or black edges from the chemical leather tanning process that replaced natural tanning circa 1970. Marked with the Marcel Breuer signature stamped in the leather. Remarkable all original vintage condition.
