Item Description
Kiushu club chairs in red Alcantara fabric, made in Italy circa 1960 by Saporiti. These chairs, equipped with a chromed steel frame, feature a very distinctive sloped back at the bottom. The chromed frame forms a wonderful contrast to the red upholstered seat. The red Alcantara fabric is still fine, but the foam in the seat is deteriorated. Reupholstery is recommended. Priced as a pair. Since 1950 Saporiti Italia creates refined and original furniture collections, designed in collaboration with famous architects or with emerging and innovative designers from all over the world, including Pierluigi Cerri, Massimiliano & Doriana Fuksas, Marti Guixé, Toshiyuki Kita, Daniel Libeskind, Mauro Lipparini, Eric Maria, Claudio Nardi, Giovanni Offredi, Park Associati, John Portman, Alberto Rosselli, Storage Milano, Shin Takamatsu, Antonio Ventimiglia, James Wines/SITE, Carlos Zapata and many others.
