Item Description

Very important molded aluminum chair designed in 1953 by Poul Kjaerholm. This chair was owned by the sister of Poul Kjaerholm and the chair is pictured in Catalogue Raisonné by Michael Sheridan on page 64. Less than 10 of these chairs where made and just 1 or 2 where painted. This piece is part of an important collection of early Kjaerholm pieces carefully curated by an art loving couple for their architectural villa in The Netherlands. The villa is sold and their other house and art museum don’t match with the Kjaerholm aesthetics. We will list more pieces of this collection soon.
