Beautiful set of 4 arm chairs designed by Charles & Ray Eames in indigo blue fiberglass with zinc plated wire “Eifel Tower” base. The fiberglass chairs came with a range of bases to accommodate different uses and aesthetics. The DAR was the designation given chairs such as this with wire “Eifel Tower” base and a seat height perfect for use at a table or desk. The zinc bases have aged to a very nice grey appearance and are in very good condition. The backs of 2 of the arm shells have some wear from rubbing against a wall. The chairs are marked with a V underneath the seat, designating these as European production, circa 1980. Unique opportunity to purchase a matching set of 4 in this beautiful indigo shade.
