This set is the original “Alfred Kill International” version, not the newly made Walter Knoll version, making these highly collectible and sought after. Priced as a set. Two chairs are the low-back version and one chair the high back version, Model FK 6727, leather ‘Bird’ Chair, also commonly referred to as the ‘Tulip’ chair, designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, manufactured in Germany by Alfred Kill International during the 1960s. All 3 chairs have the very rare and desirable option of tilt, swivel and height adjustability. The high chair is equipped with castors, the 2 low chairs have glides.
They are built from a fiberglass shell which is encased with original bright white leather upholstery that features a subtle admirable patina. These traces of age and use bring more vibrancy to the chairs This set of ‘Bird’ chairs would be a perfect addition to any collector or design lovers interior concept. They would look commanding in any office or study as well as being an option for an accent chair in living room, den or games room. They would also work well in a hospitality or corporate location, such as a private members club, executive office, creative space or hotel lobby check in area.

Good Wear consistent with age and use. Being circa 60 years old, the gaslifts still work well but are slow. The original leather and matt chrome have light wear but no holes or cracks.
