Very rare all original Utrecht sofa by Metz & Co, Amsterdam. Designed by Gerrit Rietveld, circa 1932, this example made circa 1949. Wooden frame construction, traditional upholstery with metal springs and horse hair inside. Very comfortable! Original two-tone black or brown fabric, slightly abraded at a few corners of the armrests, but still in remarkable condition.
