Item Description

Cubist sofa designed by Walter Gropius in 1923, that combines voluminous upholstery with a novel frame. This intersection of volume and linearity is reminiscent of contemporary architecture projects by Gropius, yet the black dye ash frame of this sofa is significant for another reason. The armrests protrude freely and even the back of the chair does not touch the ground. Upholstered in a beautiful combination of black alcantara with a striped wool seat. Very comfortable!
