This extendable dining table designed by Yngvar Sandström for Nordiska Kompaniet, Sweden is executed in oak with a teak top with oak edges. The rectangular tabletop has two additional leaves in order to expand the table from 137 cm to 244 cm. The extension system is brilliant in its ease of use, solidness and elegance. Four cylindrical legs lift the top up gracefully. With its minimal appearance and focus on forms and function this table is a great example of Scandinavian Modern design. Nordiska Kompaniet is also renowned as the distributer of Knoll furniture in Scandinavia. Marked with label.
