A very early Isamu Noguchi for Herman Miller IN-50 coffee table with original glass top resting on interconnected pivoting black lacquered supports. The last close-up photos show age related cracking and chipping in the original lacquer and minor flea bites and scratches to the glass. The supports are provided with rubber inserts at the 3 spots where the supports touch the glass. One of the 3 rubber inserts is almost completely deteriorated, but the glass still remains remnants of the rubber at that spot. The marks of the 3 rubber supports on the glass show that the table has been in use for decades, they make sure the table can always be composed properly.
