Item Description

Almost a century later, from its original days of manufacturing, a dressing table designed by Alvar Aalto is extremely hard to find. This particular piece is completely original, which is nothing short of a miracle. Executed in dark brown stained birch with a beautiful patina. The original key is missing but why would you want to lock your dressing table anyway. The drawers were protected with paper so they are also still in fine condition. This is a beautiful piece that is very practical. A once in a lifetime opportunity for any Aalto collector or simply anyone who admires his work.
Alvar Aalto (1898–1976) was a Finnish architect and designer renowned for his human-centric approach to modernist architecture. Aalto’s designs seamlessly blended functionality with aesthetics, emphasizing organic forms inspired by nature.
