Vintage 1960s Eero Aarnio “Elephant Boot” rattan chair. Wonderful vintage condition. Lovely patina and aging to the rattan. Very sturdy and comfortable. The Elephant Boot lounge chair’s aesthetic is a unique combination of playfulness and a laid-back feel that makes it a wonderful addition to any interior. Designed by Eero Aarnio in 1961, the chair is made of woven rattan. As is typical of rattan furniture, each chair is unique. As devout fans of rattan furniture would agree, the deviations caused by the natural material are an integral part of what makes cane furniture so beautiful and fascinating!
