Designed by Grazzi & Bianchi for Pellizzoni, the Pasqualina is a refined, minimal dining chair, and this is a rare matching set of eight. Each chair is fully upholstered in white leather: the seat, the gently curved backrest and the slender legs are all wrapped in one continuous skin. The seams are stitched by hand, and the clean lines follow the shape of the chair. The leather gives the chair its character. It is smooth and supple, and the contrast stitching along the edges traces the geometry of the frame. In white, the chairs feel light and calm, and they suit a long dining table, a conference room or a gallery-style interior. Because the design is so reduced, the chairs work equally well in contemporary settings and alongside vintage Italian design. The set comes from the head office of a fashion brand in The Netherlands, where it was used in a corporate dining and meeting space. Each chair is marked with the embossed Pellizzoni Italia stamp. Pellizzoni is known for working with fine Italian leather, and these chairs show that craftsmanship clearly. Eight matching chairs are hard to find, and this set would equip a large dining table or a representative space straight away. Condition: Good overall condition.
