Originally created for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the Swan Chair remains one of the most celebrated achievements of twentieth-century Scandinavian design. To mark its 50th anniversary, Fritz Hansen issued a strictly limited edition of just 1,958 examples worldwide in a unique champagne color for the base and the leather, each fitted with a distinctive silver anniversary plaque. This example retains its original limited-edition silver tag with its unique number, confirming its place within the anniversary production.
